Rapid Mixer Granulator

Our rapid mixer granulator designed to achieve fast dry mixing, homogeneous binder distribution and making wet granules in the same bowl. The machine performs mixing and granulation with the help of specially designed mixing bowl, dual speed main impeller, 4 blade chopper very precisely and effectively which leads to faster tableting speeds with improved quality and least rejections. All contact parts made from ss316 / ss304 grade and entire machine designed to confirm cgmp standards. The entire process is fully closed, safe, dust free and automatically discharges the materials.

 

Salient Features :
  • Specially designed plain mixing bowl provided with counter-balanced lid, vents,view-ports and charging hole.
  • Main impeller consists of dual speed 750/1500 tefc motor coupled with drive mechanism which facilitates inside wash
    Facility for quick change-over and also prevents powder leakage from bottom.
  • The chopper drive of the rapid mixer granulator consists of dual speed (1440/2800 synchronous speed) tefc motor. The Motor
    shaft is of s. S. And the chopper has specially designed 4 blade s. S. Impeller. The shaft is integral with the motor. The assembly in the rapid mixer granulator is mounted horizontally into the bowl.
  • Discharge port will be provided with pneumatic cylinder. (directly coupled with discharge plug) discharge port provided
    with 3 position solenoid valve to open and close at desired levels, thereby regulating the discharge and preventing
    discharge of large lumps.
  • Internal surface of all the vessels will be ground and polished to mirror finish.
  • Mounting structure fabricated of rigid square pipes of M. S. Cladded with SS dimpled sheet & polished to matt surface
    finish.
Control Panel :
  • Panel board is fabricated from ss304 sheet. The same can be provided as electrical or PLC based operation.
  • Panel board consists of Relays, Motor Starter, Indicating Lamp, Ammeter / Voltmeter for both Motors, Push Buttons,
    controls for discharge! opening, etc.
  • Digital timer can be provided. (Optional)
Safety Features :
  • Limit switches are provided on main lid and discharge valve interlocked with control panel for safe operation.
  • Equipment air and purging air control via differential air switches.
Optional :
  • Flameproof Motor with FLP push button and flameproof control panel.
  • Bowl can be provided with water jacket and temperature sensor for product. (as per application)
  • Pneumatic system for opening/closing of bowl lid can also be provided.
  • A. C. Frequency drive for speed variation of main impeller motor & chopper motor.
  • Tri-clover ended connection on top lid for fitting of spray ball for inbuilt cleaning and spray nozzle for spraying of binder.
  • Wet mill at discharge valve.
Note :

For RMG-25, Which is a lab model - Working Platform, Stair-case and Railing is not provided. The operators can access the machine from the ground level of the machine. Also the entire mounting is covered with S. S.

Filter Press

GMP's Zero Hold-Up / Sparkler Type Filter Press consist of Stainless Steel Shell & Top cover using bolts to give pressure tight enclosure. The filter cartridge assembly inside the shell consists of several horizontally arranged disc type filter plates with perforated supporting screens, filter media & interlocking cups. The entire assembly complete with pump & piping connection is mounted on a suitable S.S. Trolley.

Operation :

Zero Hold-Up: The Cartridge assembly consists of plates, perforated screens, spacers and fitter media. Interlocking spacers internally form single pipeline. The unfiltered liquid is centrally fed under pressure from bottom inlet. The liquids spreads out equally on each plate fitted with filter media. Solids remain on filter media and clear. Filtrate flows through precisely made holes on sides of plates and collects in the shell, which then come out through the outlet. In this process, solids are evenly distributed on each plate. The cake is then cleaned from the filter material and used again for filtration process
 

  • Single pass filtration with no solid bypass.
  • Full batch recovery, no separate scavenging system needed.
  • Proper sealing which allows the filtration of volatile, toxic and inflammable products.
  • Plate pack arrangement ensures any type of filtering mediasingularly or in combination, can be used to achieve required micron efficiency. Easy removal and cleaning of the cartridge assembly.
  • Closed System ensures filtration of toxic, hazardous, explosive materials, efficiently cleaned and sterilized.
  • Central feeding ensures no solid inside the vessel, complete recovery of liquids. Cake solids can be dried with N, complete cake retains over the plate. Uniform filter-aid bed can be formed. Reduces the cost of expensive solvents.
 
Sparkler Type :

The impure liquid to be filtered is fed to the filter shell by pump. It arrives on top of each plate through opening on the sides of plates. As liquid pressure increases, the filter media (Paper/fabric) holds back the impurities & allows the crystal clear filtrate to pass through the central channel (formed by interlocking cups) which takes the filtrate to the outlet of filter. This filter most commonly used to obtain clear liquid. However if required, the cake formed between the plates can be obtained. Filtration is continued until its rate becomes very slow due to increased cake resistance.

  • Cake can be dried either by compressed air or by insert gas, steam.
  • Filtration rates from 600 Ltrs/hr. to 30000 Ltrs/hr possible depending on the models.
  • Centrifugal / Gear / Lobe pumps can be offered, which can also be used for liquid transfer.

Fluid Bed Dryer

GMP's Fluid Bed Dryer with latest improved design makes this unit a truly versatile for Pharmaceutical, Food, Dyestuff & Chemical industries. Our Fluid Bed Dryer is capable of drying materials in any forms like granular, powder or crystalline. Afluidized bed of solid particles with a stream of air passing up-ward through the particles at a rate great enough to set them in motion. As the air travels through the particle bed, the particles behave as boiled water. The active motion creates the potential for improved mixing and results an isothermal property. In a bubbling fluidized bed, no temperature gradient exists within the mass of the fluidized particles. Because the temperature and volume of the air can be precisely adjusted, the process achieves fast heat transfer making it very efficient, yet gentle on the product. Our product precisely maintains moisture content up to 20% which is ideal for pharmaceuticals and chemicals .

Ointment Plant

GMP's ointment/cream manufacturing plants are used in the pharmaceutical & cosmetic industries for the production of ointments, creams, lotions, toothpaste, emulsions & homogenizations. The plant is made with specially designed vessels, pipes, pipe fittings, motors and other accessories.

It includes wax phase vessel, water phase vessel, manufacturing vessel, storage vessel, interconnecting piping, bump pump / metering pump, control panel and working platform.

The vessels are manufactured from ss316 grade material and are constructed with cgmp compliant. The vessels are jacketed, insulated and cladded. A specially designed agitator assembly is provided in each vessel. Wax is melted and water is heated to desired temperature in the respective vessels and both media will be transferred to manufacturing vessel through vacuum. Both these media are homogenized to make uniform emulsion and cooled by passing chilled water in the jacket of the manufacturing vessel. After the emulsion is formed, active ingredients / colors are added and thoroughly mixed and homogenized. The prepared solution is transferred to the storage vessels by means of a bump pump.

Coating Pan

GMP's Coating Pan is extensively used for sugar and film coating of tablets, pallets and granules. The unit comprises of ellipsoidal shaped pan fabricated using stainless steel material and mounted on the gear box shaft which is driven by prime mover. These tablet coating pans are available in standard and GMP model with SS316 or SS304 contact parts.

 

Salient Features:
  • The coating pan is made up of stainless steel semi-ellipsoidal size pan with a circular mouth for loading & unloading of
    tablets. Baffles are provided inside the vessel.
  • The pan will be mounted on sturdy frame made up of MS angles cladded with SS sheet at an angle of 45° from base.
  • The drive of the coating pan consists of suitable HP, 3 Phase, 440 Volt, 1440 RPM TEFC motor with suitable worm
    reduction gear box and cone pulley arrangement to give three speed output.
  • The unit will be provided with a hot air blower consisting of suitable HP, 3 Phase, 440 Volt, 2880 RPM TEFC motor &
    centrifugal blower with damper delivering required CFM. The air is heated by means of electric heater to give air 30° to
    90°C. Heaters are provided with thermostat controller and flexible hose pipe.
  • Control panel with starter and push button to operate the drive and blower. The circuit consists of MCCB's, relays and
    contactors in series.
  • The gear box and motor will be housed inside the sturdy frame for the protection of drives and personnel.
  • All the joints are argon welded, grounded and finished to the pharmaceutical grade.
Optional:
  • Flame-Proof motor with Flame-Proof ON-OFF Push Buttons.
  • Steam heating for blower.

Multi Mill

GMP's Multi Mill is used for wet and dry granulation, pulverization etc. The Unit consists of Stainless Steel Hopper, Processing Chamber with Beater Assembly, Motor, DOL Starter, Variable Speed Pulley, Screen and Sturdy Body. It operates on the principle of variable force swing beaters having both knife and impact edges rotating within a selected screen to get the required size reduction. Material fed in the hopper, goes down to the processing chamber where it moves to the periphery and passes through the screen radially and tangentially. Finally the processed material gets collected in the container which is kept below the processing chamber. Output and Quality of the final product depends on three key factors like Shape of Beaters (Knife/Impact Edges), Speed and Screen.

The blender features an octagon shaped body with rectangular central portion and top & bottom polygonal frustum.
